I’ve been playing guitar for well over 3 decades, preferring S-style guitars, including Suhrs, Fender Custom Shops, all the way down to Squiers and Tagimas, etc. This is easily the best value for the money and punches way above its weight. I got the sunburst one with upgraded pickups, etc. It was clearly designed to mimic or directly compete with Suhr Classic/Antique Pros (which are 10x the price), even sharing similar headstock designs, stainless steel frets, a compound radius, etc. It took me about 5 seconds to get used to the neck (a modern C-ish) and it’s quite comfortable. (This is one of the most important things for me in a guitar.) The fret work is also exemplary, and the matte finish on the body was a bit new for me, but I got used to that pretty quickly, as well.Though the build quality and tuners are still better in Suhrs and American Strats (and probably in most guitars over $400), I actually prefer the EART’s pickups over the American Pro II’s and Fender Player guitars, though these aren’t as Stratty/quacky, but they are punchy and smooth and responsive and fun to play, with less 60-cycle hum than most single coils. I thought I may have to change the pickups after I ordered this, but they were a pleasant surprise. This one also has a very easy to use (pop in and out) tremolo arm like higher-end guitars do.I may change the tuners at some point, maybe the pickups sometime for fun (though these are great), and maybe replace the nut with a bone one down the line, but I’m quite pleased with it as-is. I even got used to the output jack placement below the body and the pinwheel truss rod adjuster (which I actually prefer now over the headstock ones). These are also lighter than most S-style guitars (probably because of the carbonized wood, which is like roasted wood, usually a premium feature).So, I’m giving this guitar 5 stars across the board, though I’m definitely factoring price/value into it. For the price category, I believe it blows away all others for sure.This was my first EART guitar and I must say that I'm really impressed how great it looks, feels and plays. EART did a wonderful job building this guitar. Keep up the good work and production of such fine guitars !! The packing was very well l done and the delivery was well on time also. There are no marks or imperfections that I can find. This is a great guitar for any level player. You get a beautiful instrument at a great price. If your thinking about purchasing a new guitar, then I suggest that you look no further than an EART guitar. Well worth the money you pay.The guitar Was a nice surprise the action is good . The neck is very nice. If you're a professional you may want to upgrade the electronics but at this price point the guitar is fantastic. The freet work is beautiful.
